Research interests
My research interests revolve around bioinformatics and computational biology in general. My research focuses on the analysis of Next Generation Sequencing data, especially whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data applied in animal science and whole transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) data applied in oncology. Current research focuses on the impact of changes in cattle’s microbiome on the heat stress response using 16S rRNA (Microbiome-seq). My doctoral research is focused on the integration of multi-omics data using a machine learning approach.
Member of the Polish Bioinformatics Society (PTBI) and the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP).
