  • Description: Genetic background of clinical mastitis in dairy cattle. The major goal of the project is to identify genomic features underlying differences in the level of mastitis resistance in Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle. In particular, using the animal material preselected based on the results of a previous study we aim to identify single nucleotide polymorphisms, copy number variations and indel polymorphisms which may influence the incidence of clinical mastitis.
